TUITION REIMBURSEMENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM (TRIP)

This is by far one of the best fundraising programs offered. There is no other program which allows you to receive money off your tuition by buying the things you need!!!

St. Catherine of Alexandria Mandatory Fundraising Fee

St. Catherine School requires all K - 8 school families to pay a fundraising fee. Your T.R.I.P. earnings can be used to pay your mandatory fundraising fee. Additional earnings above the $75.00 mandatory fundraising fee will be used for tuition credit in May or July.  Families electing not to participate in the T.R.I.P. program or that do not earn $75.00 in T.R.I.P. credit will be billed $75 or the remaining balance of the mandatory fundraising fee on their May Smart Tuition bill. Families also have the option to pay the $75 mandatory fundraising fee at any time prior to being billed in May.  


How  does the TRIP  program work?

  • Purchase gift cards through our TRIP program or the RaiseRIght App for any of the the vendors listed on the order form (there are over 100 vendors listed). You will note there is percentage listed next to each vendor. This is the percentage of your purchase that is applied toward your mandatory fundraising fee of $75.00. For example, if you purchase $100 in Jewel 2% you earned $2.00 toward your fundraising fee.

  • The TRIP Administrators track these amounts and pay out of all credits will commence after the TRIP earning period is over. See schedule below.

  • Use the TRIP program and RaiseRight App year round to make purchases from the vendor list to accumulate your credits. Ask your friends and family to buy as well. You can continue to save for education once your children have graduated from St. Catherine.


Who is eligible for the TRIP program ?

  • Anyone sending their child to St. Catherine (earning dates April 1st, through March 31st)

  • Anyone sending their child to a Catholic High School (earning dates February 1st through January 31st)

  • Anyone sending their child to a private or public college (earnings February 1st through January 31st)


Where do I buy TRIP?

  • Cash and carry every Thursday evening 6:30-8:00pm at the back of Church.

  • School Orders: Orders sent to school on Monday will be returned on Friday of the same week.

  • Through the RaiseRight App which allows you to buy eGift cards. For more information see below.



Envelope Orders 

A TRIP envelope is provided to each family for your convenience when sending orders to school and having certificates returned to you. This TRIP envelope is in the packet you receive on packet pick up day. Please keep the envelope and use it to send in orders. You may send orders to school with your oldest child, or you may drop off your order at the school office. Envelope orders received by 3:00 P.M. on Monday will be filled and returned to you on Friday of the same week. Orders must be turned in by Monday to guarantee full order delivery. Those orders which come in after Monday will be filled if there is stock available and all other cards that are not available (special orders) will be sent home on the following Friday.


When sending orders to school with your child, he/she is responsible for turning in the order to his/her teachers. Please make sure to fill out the order form completely and include your TRIP identification number. 



TRIP Credit Statements 

The TRIP program year cycle runs from April 1st through March 31st of each year. Your TRIP credit will show on Blackbaud Tuition in April as to what you earned during the preceding earning period.

If you are new to the school or new to using TRIP program please either contact us or see us in the back of church on Thursdays to get you registered for the program.
