About Me

Mr. Haneberg has been teaching since 2007 and joined the faculty at St. Catherine in 2012. He currently teaches 5th and 6th grade Reading as well as 6th grade Social Studies. In his classroom, Mr. Haneberg focuses on helping students develop strong literacy skills while encouraging them to think critically about the texts and historical topics they study.

Mr. Haneberg earned his Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University and later completed a Master’s degree in School Administration at Governors State University. Throughout his career, he has been committed to creating a structured and supportive classroom environment where students feel challenged, supported, and motivated to grow as learners.

In his teaching, Mr. Haneberg emphasizes the importance of building a lifelong appreciation for reading while helping students strengthen their analytical and critical thinking skills.
