How to I sign-up to give electronically through Give Central?
The easiest way is to go to http://www.scaoaklawn.org. In the main black stripe banner you will see a tab for “Online Giving”. This page will provide you the link to the Give Central page for St. Catherine, the documentation on how to use Give Central as well as contact information for support.
Is personal and payment information secure on Give Central?
GiveCentral.org is a secure centralized payment system protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) software and meets industry standards for Payment Card Industry (PCI)
What form of electronic payment does Give Central accept?
Electronic checks (ACH) from Checking and Savings Accounts. Credit Cards: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express.
Is there a fee for Give Central transactions?
As with any electronic transaction, there is a small fee assessed to St. Catherine for each transaction processed through Give Central. Because Give Central was setup by the Archdiocese of Chicago, the fees are less than other services. We believe that the convenience of regular electronic giving more than offsets the cost of these fees to the parish.
What choice for electronic payment is most cost effective for St. Catherine?
Electronic Checking (ACH) from a checking or savings bank account incurs the smallest fees.
How do I view the donations I have made electronically?
Log in to your account and click “Reports”. You can select to view or print the transaction by collection and date. These varied financial reports will allow you to reconcile your bank statements. Also, if you have e-mail, every time a payment is made, you will receive an automatic e-mail to confirm the transaction.
Can I use Give Central to automatically make pledge payments to the St. Catherine Debt Reduction Campaign?
Yes. We have set up the account for St. Catherine to accept payments for this campaign.
Will I still be able to place my envelopes in the Offertory Basket?
You can still use your current offering envelopes and write Online Giving on the envelope. Giving during weekly Mass is a very formalized and traditional part of worship. As parishioners adopt Online Giving, to save the cost of mailed offering envelopes, parishioners may be provided with I Give Online Card to place in the offering basket as recognition of their donation.
What if I want to change my billing information?
Login to your account and select Payment Information. Click on the fields you wish to change or delete. Or you can contact us is you would prefer to we change this information for you.
What if I want to stop or change my recurring billing setup?
Login to your account and select Payment Information. Click on the Recurring Charge you wish to modify or delete. You have the option to place the recurring charge on hold or delete that entry.
What if I do not have Internet access?
The finance committee will have scheduled events to help you register and provide support for any account changes you need to support your online giving.
