An oldest child packet was sent home on November 7th.  A field trip form for the Chicago Wolves game on Tuesday, December 17th was one of the items sent home.  The cost of the field trip is $18.00.  The form is due Thursday, November 21st.  If you are able to chaperone the field trip you can indicate it on the form.  Also, you can send me an email if you are able to chaperone.



This Thursday, November 14th, students can bring in $1.00 and dress down for Diabetes Awareness JDRF.  



Report Cards go home on Thursday.

For homework:  Students are working on an Encouraging the Donation of Blood project in school.  Each group needs to have 3 visual pictures on their white construction paper with symbols/pictures relating to donating blood.  Additional work is explained on the guideline sheet/grade sheet.  A presentation sheet will also be sent home.  Students are working in groups in school and will be completing work in school.  Each group member is responsible for taking notes and presenting on Thursday.

Below is the scheduled information for this week.



An oldest child packet was sent home on Thursday, September 12th.  In the oldest child packets, there was a letter from Mrs. Gordon and an informational sheet from Brother Rice High School.  



Picture Day is Wednesday, September 18th.


8th Grades IXL Skill J,  A1,  B1,  and B2 are due tomorrow, Monday, September 16th. 


Senora Alma will be giving a vocabulary quiz this Tuesday, September 17th in Spanish class.



7th Grade will have a science quiz on Thursday, September 19th.  The information on the quiz will be about lab equipment, safety and scenarios in the science lab, and metric conversions.



I have entered additional grades for each of the subjects on PowerSchool.  More grades will be added when I have an opportunity to grade the student’s schoolwork.

The students in 8th grade will begin looking at information for Science Fair.  While the students are working on Science Fair, I will keep you informed with information and updates.


Students who have not joined the Social Studies 7th grade Google Classroom or my Homeroom Google Classroom need to do so.  Also, anyone who has not returned the 7th or 8th grade newsletter sheet needs to do so.

A packet from the junior high teachers was sent home last Thursday at Back to School Night.  Please review information about junior high policies and notes from each teacher.



An oldest child packet was sent home on Thursday, August 29th.   In the morning, I collect any forms or information from the students that need to be sent to our school office.  



The vocabulary unit 1 word search assignment is due on Tuesday, September 3rd.  Last week, the students received a direction sheet as well as a grade sheet for this assignment.
