Remote Learning Information
Seesaw
Your child’s Seesaw at home learning code were sent via email. The letter explains how to set up the “at home learning” account so they can post pictures and have access to their lessons and assignments. When the assignment is complete, you can submit the assignment back to the teacher. Pictures of assignments/activities can also be taken and uploaded to your child’s portfolio. I will also be posting read alouds and phonemic awareness videos daily. If you have not yet signed up for Seesaw, please let me know and I can resend you the information.
Here is a tutorial for using the Seesaw drawing tools:

FlipGrid
FlipGrid is a great way for students to record their responses in a video that can be viewed by the teacher and other students. Each student will have a username (their first name, first initial of their last name, and the numbers 109). Click on the FlipGrid link and you can respond to the questions by clicking the green plus sign before recording your child’s response. Here is a short tutorial that you may find helpful: FlipGrid Tutorial
Boom Cards
Boom cards are an engaging for students to work independently from a distance and review skills we have been working on. I will assign a “deck” on the Boom platform and students will complete it as they can. This works on a desktop as well as an iPad or mobile phone. It is a great way for teachers to track their progress and will give me a report of their answers once they have submitted it. The information for Boom Cards was also sent via email. These will not be assigned until next week.
Zoom Meetings
I will send more information about those meetings as they are planned. I understand that parents have busy schedules, so if there is any reason that your child cannot make one of our Zoom meetings- I completely understand.
