The annual Thanksgiving Food Drive is being sponsored by St. Catherine of Alexandria’s Religious Education Office. The Food Drive will benefit our sister parish, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the PADS sites in our area.
Donated items should be brought to school from Monday, November 11th through Tuesday, November 19th. There will be an all school prayer service at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20th.

The items have been divided by grade levels as follows:
PRESCHOOL—Canned items: vegetables, fruits, baby food
1ST GRADE—Dried Foods: Macaroni & Cheese, spaghetti, noodles, jello, instant pudding, instant mashed potatoes
2ND GRADE—Cereals/Treats: All kinds of cereal; nuts, cookies, crackers, jelly
3RD GRADE—Soups: Cans, packets, soup starters
4TH GRADE—Non-food items: Detergent, travel size toothbrushes, combs, antibacterial hand lotions
5TH GRADE—Non-food items: Sample size items (if possible): toothpaste, hand soap, shampoo, disposable razors, shaving cream, skin lotions
6TH GRADE—Paper products: Pampers, tissue, kleenex
7TH GRADE—Drinks: Coffee, tea, juice, hot chocolate, Kool Aid
8TH GRADE—Canned Goods: Tuna fish, Spam, ham, chili, spaghetti sauce, also single package items that are easy open and need no cooking are appropriate for the homeless
NOTE: Please NO rice or beans. Local suppliers provide these.
Gift certificates to Jewel, County Fair, Meijer or Ultra Foods may also be donated. Please purchase these from St. Catherine’s T.R.I.P. program.
